We are deliberately small and intend to grow slowly. That means fewer roles than a large firm, and considerably more ownership in each of them.

What the job is actually like

Consulting has a reputation for long hours, thin work and being measured by utilisation. We are trying to run the opposite of that. Teams are small, the work is technical, and the standard we hold is whether a client can operate what you built after you leave.

You will talk to clients directly. You will be asked for your opinion and expected to have one. And when you say a deadline is not achievable, that is treated as information rather than as an attitude problem.

  • You can explain a technical trade-off to someone non-technical without condescending
  • You would rather ship something modest that works than something ambitious that might
  • You write things down, because the next person needs them
  • You raise problems early, when they are still cheap
  • You are comfortable saying you do not know something yet

How our process runs

Four steps, and we will tell you where you stand at each one.

    A conversation

    45 minutes on what you have worked on and what you want to be doing. Not a quiz.

  2. 02

    A technical discussion

    We work through a realistic problem together. No whiteboard algorithms, no take-home that eats your weekend unpaid.

  3. 03

    Meet the team

    Time with the people you would actually work alongside, including space to ask us difficult questions.

  4. 04

    A decision, quickly

    We tell you either way, with reasons, within a week. Silence is not an answer and we will not leave you with one.

Open roles

We do not have published vacancies at the moment, and we would rather say so than list roles we are not actively hiring for. We do read every speculative application, and we keep good ones on file for when a role does open.
